TRON Builder Tour: Columbia Stop
TRON Builder Tour hosted a hackathon at Columbia University on October 5th, co-sponsored by Columbia University Blockchain and Boston University Blockchain. The 12-hour event attracted over 120 sign-ups from students eager to build on the TRON blockchain. Attendees included officials from prestigious universities such as Harvard University, Boston University, New York University, Berkeley University, Columbia University, University of Waterloo, and Princeton University. Longtime developers and early builders from the TRON community traveled from all over the country to help students with their projects. Mentors include TRON Community Project founder Dwayne Gordon, TRON Super President Eder Teixeira, and Wes Jorgensen of Boston University Blockchain. Their collective experience provided valuable insight and guidance to students and strengthened TRON’s commitment to fostering innovation and education within the university. blockchain space.
Throughout the hackathon, students developed decentralized applications (dApps) across four tracks: DeFi, Artistry, Integration, and Web3. The top three projects in each track were awarded their respective share of the grand prize pool.
