People are still trying to build better blockchains and tune networks to solve more modern computing challenges. One of them, Dynex, was just founded in 2022 and aims to solve “real-world problems” in AI, quantum computing, and research. This is a bit different from our usual reports, so we spoke to Clifford Mapp, Global Ecosystem and Information Officer at Dynex Development, at the London Blockchain Conference 2024 to find out how his team is tackling these challenges. I learned more about it.

“Neuromorphic Quantum Computing Cloud”
Dynex is described by its developers as a “unique and adaptive blockchain system” that leverages the parallel processing power of GPU-based mining networks and “the world’s only accessible neuromorphic quantum computing cloud.” It is explained that there is.
The neuromorphic network that Mapp shares with CoinGeek Backstage processes information along the same principles as the human brain.
“Neuromorphic networks, in the simplest terms, emulate the same way the human brain works: when you look at me, when you look at me, when you look at me, when you look at me “When you hear it, when you smell it, it’s all being processed in parallel in your own brain. And we can simulate the same way that it works in our chain.” says.
Dynex uses a custom algorithm called “DynexSolve” to process transactions. The algorithm combines traditional proof-of-work (PoW) with a new concept that Mapp calls the “proof of useful work” (PoUW) mechanism. The idea of PoUW is to ensure that some of the computational resources of Dynex’s mining network are allocated to solving practical problems. These include real-world scenarios such as scientific research, AI training, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and financial modeling.
Its native token is also known as Dynex or DNX. Miners receive DNX as block rewards for securing the network, similar to other PoW blockchains, but they also receive additional subsidies for the “meaningful” computations mentioned above. According to Mapp, DynexSolve is a way to combine the two into one processing algorithm.
He added that one of the pharmaceutical research applications Dynex is considering involves protein folding. A pharmaceutical company realized it had done RNA folding and RNA sequencing before.
“I think there are up to about 250 amino acid chains. The human body contains about 300 proteins, so protein folding has now reached almost the human level. I think it will take months, but once we fully establish it, it opens the door to all kinds of new research,” he explains.
LLM (Large-Scale Language Models) is a popular topic in the technology field, especially with ChatGPT and other similar projects rapidly gaining mainstream attention. Dynex LLM is a unique model for the project, which Mapp describes as a “large-scale behavioral model” based on how the human mind thinks and learns.
Much of Dynex’s research is still in the experimental realm, and its neuromorphic quantum computing concept exploits the ionic drift of electrons. This “uses a memory resistive element that can react quickly to changes, and the system quickly finds the optimal solution.” It uses the movement of ions within the memory register to change the state of the device, It’s another way to potentially realize the benefits of quantum computing.
This is just one of the computer science problems that Dynex wants to solve, and the team is looking forward to further breakthroughs.
For artificial intelligence (AI) to function properly within the law and succeed in the face of growing challenges, it must integrate enterprise blockchain systems that ensure the quality and ownership of data input. This makes it possible to ensure data security while also guaranteeing immutability. of data.
